A great Friday lineup to send you into your weekend:

‣ L.A. sextet Races headlines the Troubadour behind its new album “Year of the Witch,” with Gliss and Lili Haydn supporting.
Sara Watkins of Nickel Creek, whose solo album “Sun Midnight Sun” came out in May, visits the Levitt Pavilion Pasadena for one in the venue’s free Summer Nights Concert Series (8 p.m.).
The Entrance Band serenades downtowners’ lunch hour at Grand Performances at California Plaza (noon).
‣ And armed with some new music and, we assume, his characteristic fun showmanship Andy Clockwise visits the Central SAPC in Santa Monica, supported by A House For Lions (and a Jessie Kivel DJ set).
