Effervescent Scandinavian electro-pop duo Rebecca & Fiona released their Swedish Grammis Award-winning album. “I Love You,” in North America on July 10. High energy, uplifting and hopelessly catchy, Rebecca & Fiona feature shimmering vocals on the verge of being overcome by a torrent of electronica, a dance-floor version of the likes of School of Seven Bells, or the Cocteau Twins. Their drum driven, Swedish triple-platinum single “Bullets” oozes elation and will surely provoke a smile, whether you’re dancing, driving, or just jumping around the apartment in your undies. “Dance” has a darker tone, with the Italo-disco flavor of Glass Candy, and the slow building tension of Secret Machines. The album also features collaborations with Spank Rock and Kaskade.

This is pretty damned awful. The Swedish answer to Tatu?
A poor answer at that. At least “All The Things She Said” had a better hook. But I guess these girls are ten times hotter. So they deserve it.
