Video: Army Navy, ‘World’s End’

As EW.com noted Tuesday when it premiered Army Navy’s video for its new single “World’s End,” the variety-show schtick is not a new angle for music videos. But director Mark Schoenecker’s episode of “Making It With Chester Felt and Viv” is exceedingly well-done, owing to performances by Martin Starr (“Freaks and Geeks”) as the show’s host and Camille Cregan (“The Trivial Pursuits of Arthur Banks”) as his sidekick. Frontman Justin Kennedy and his L.A. quartet are no slouches either – their new single, the band’s first material since last year’s pop gem “The Last Place,” transports us back to the sharp-dressed 1960s and a time a pop ballad could sweep a girl off her feet. Come to think of it, maybe that time has not passed.
