Great Wednesday night, especially for local shows:

‣ Indie-blues trio Armada [that’s their video for “Callanwolde,” above] celebrates the release of its album “Paper Ghosts” with a show at the Hotel Cafe on a night that also features performances by Emma Louise, Kita Klane and David & Devine. Check out another track from Armada, “Pick Up the Pieces”:

Jillinda Palmer celebrates the release of her debut EP “Lazy Sun” [see Tuesday’s post] with a show at the Satellite, supported by Geronimo Getty, Charlie Limousine and Walter Spencer.
‣ And Well Hung Heart, their single “Devil” just out, joins the Black Lantern for a night of rock at the Silverlake Lounge.
‣ And long-running U.K. punk band the Vibrators hit Los Globos, supported by Death Hymn Number 9.
