Made your pre-Halloween weekend plans yet? Two events planned for Saturday, Oct. 27, were announced today.

Ozomatli [pictured], La Santa Cecilia, Very Be Careful, Las Cafeteras and Tribu will provide the music at the 13th annual Dia De Los Muertos Festival at Hollywood Forever Cemetery. The event, from noon to midnight, will feature costumed Aztec ritual dancers, an art exhibition, a dance plaza, children’s activities and vendors. Tickets are $10 and go on sale Friday.

KCRW’s annual Masquerade Halloween costume ball and dance party at the Park Plaza is the same night, and apparently it has become so successful that the taste-making station can sell tickets without having to announce a lineup (Mariachi El Bronx, Dengue Fever and Milagrese played last year). Early-bird tickets went on sale today ($65 for members; $75 for non-members). Tickets for the fundraiser go up to $85 after the presale.
