‣ Filter magazine’s Culture Collide festival begins in earnest, the multinational gathering at four venues in Echo Park (the Echo, Taix, Origami Vinyl and Echo park United Methodist Church). Full schedule at the end of this post.
The World Record celebrates the release of its new double-LP “Freeway Special” with a big show at the Echoplex, supported by  Francisco the Man, Seasons, Geronimo Getty, the Damselles & the TC4 and Adeline & the Philistines.
Patrick Wolf, who just celebrating 10 years of making music by releasing “Sundark and Riverlight” (re-imagined and re-recorded songs from his catalog), headline the Bootleg Theater, supported by Woodpigeon.
