Woodkid, Lila Downs, the Punch Brothers, Chucho Valdés, Yann Tiersen highlight schedule for the 2012-13 season at Luckman Fine Arts Complex Kevin Bronson on June 8th, 2012 Share this:TweetEmail 2 Woodkid</a> – the <em>nom de tune</em> of French music video director and artist Yoann Lemoine – will make his Los Angeles debut on Nov. 3 at <a href="http://www.luckmanarts.org/" target="_blank">the Luckman Fine Arts Complex at Cal State L.A</a>.</p> <p>That show is but one of the highlights in the Luckman 2012-13 series, which will be announced today and kick off with a Sept. 22 concert featuring Mexican songstress and composer <a href="http://www.liladowns.com" target="_blank">Lila Downs</a>.</p> <p>Lemoine is best known for his music videos, including Katy Perry’s “Teenage Dream,” Lana Del Rey’s “Born to Die,” Moby’s “Mistake” and Taylor Swift’s “Back to December.” He has released two well-received EPs and has a full-length, “The Golden Age,” on the way later this year. That’s the video for the title track to his 2012 EP “Run Boy Run,” above.</p> <p>Downs and Woodkid are joined by <a href="http://www.punchbrothers.com" target="_blank">the Punch Brothers</a>, <a href="http://www.valdeschucho.com" target="_blank">Chucho Valdés</a> and <a href="http://www.yanntiersen.com" target="_blank">Yann Tiersen</a> on the Luckman’s schedule.
