Things to do before you “fall back”:
‣ One more weekend of costumed craziness – the craziest being at L.A. State Historic Park near downtown, where HARD Haunted Mansion brings a “Day of the Dead” lineup that features Justice, Major Lazer, Knife Party, Diplo, Jack Beats, Dillon Francis, AraabMuzik and a bunch more.
‣ Saint Etienne are back. The U.K. electro trio has a new album “Words and Music” and is on its first U.S. tour in six years, which visit the Fonda Theatre tonight.
‣ Other Lives visits the El Rey Theatre behind its new EP “Mind the Gap.” Indians and Oren Lyons open.
‣ Chilly Gonzales does his “Solo Piano II” at the Bootleg Theater, where his performance will be projected in “PianoVision” … like in the video, above.
‣ And American Music Club’s Mark Eitzel does a gig at McCabe’s Guitar Shop behind his solo album “Don’t Be a Stranger,” just out on Merge.
