Putting the video for a song titled “Play” in the hands of kid filmmakers seems like a natural, right? It yielded very fun results for the song from the Correatown album “Pleaides” – an album that has taken on a life of its own since we premiered the first single back in May 2011. “Pleaides,” self-released in 2011, was picked up by Highline Records and released in August in the U.K. and Europe and Oct. 16 in the U.S. The video, meanwhile, is the work of OMG! Cameras Everywhere! – one of the programs from OMG Everywhere, a nonprofit that mounts arts and filmmaking classes for children. The people at Silly String should’ve sponsored this one.
