Things for Thanksgiving eve:
‣ RNDM – the new group featuring Pearl Jam bassist Jeff Ament, singer-songwriter Joseph Arthur and former Fastbacks drummer Richard Stuverud – headlines the Troubadour behind its debut “Acts.” Line & Circle, its “Roman Ruins” 7-inch recently out on White Iris, opens. That’s RNDM’s video for “Walking Through New York,” above.
‣ Canadians take over this installment of Spaceland Productions’ “Church Sessions” at the First Unitarian Church (2936 W. 8th). Montreal’s Patrick Watson headlines with Ottawa trio Half Moon Run supporting.
‣ And Deftones, whose seventh album “KOI NO YOKAN” came out last week, lights up the Palladium, supported by Scars On Broadway.
