The new single “Let It Go” caps a huge year for the Neighbourhood, who rocketed out of Newbury Park and scored some international buzz, first in the U.K., with a five-song EP that included the current single “Sweater Weather.” Now signed to Columbia Records, the quintet of Jessie Rutherford, Jeremy Freedman, Zach Abels, Mikey Margott and Bryan Sammis tease their 2013 full-length with “Let It Go,” another tasty dose of hip-hop-inspired indie R&B. The band’s video collaborators Daniel Iglesias Jr. and Zack Sekuler return with this dark episode that suggests, like the Neighbourhood’s secret-identity beginnings, things are not always what they seem.

||| Live: The Neighbourhood open for Paul Banks on Dec. 5 at the Fonda Theatre before launching a bi-county residency – Dec. 9, 16 and 23 at the Bootleg Bar and Dec. 10 and 17 at the Constellation Room.
The Neighbourhood have really impressed with their last few songs and this song is no different. I have found a site that has music from a lot of other artists and bands from all different genres and I have found that Art Radio is a great place to go and has a lot of great songs from some great upcoming artists.
I’ve been addicted to Sweater Weather the past couple of weeks, and am glad to come across something new. Also, they’re featured on Spotify’s new Emerge app, where you listen to their EP to move them up on the charts. Help them out and give it a listen 🙂 http://open.spotify.com/app/emerge
Listening to them constantly on spotify! I want them to be #1 on spotify’s emerge app! I also love the awesome instagram campaign! They’re my fav!
