Buzz Bands LA Show, today at 11 on Moheak Radio

0

The fine musical year that was 2012 is drawing to a close, and here at Buzz Bands LA headquarters we’re getting ready for our annual local music countdown on Moheak Radio. For three consecutive Fridays starting Dec. 7, I will count down my  101 favorite local songs of the year on the Buzz Bands LA Show. (Why 101? Something about the freeway …) On Dec. 28, staff writer Seraphina Lotkhamnga takes over for a show sharing her favorites.

But first: BBLA’s inbox continues to bulge with new music. On today’s show, starting at 11 a.m., I’ll have new music from the Neighbourhood, the New Limb, the Record Company, DWNTN, Father Tiger, Tic Tic Boom, the Reflections, Nacosta, Eagle Rock Gospel Singers, Steelwells, Echoes De Luxe and He’s My Brother She’s My Sister. We’ll also hear from all four bands playing Buzz Bands LA’s night on Dec. 5 at the SatelliteSeven Saturdays, Western Lows, Auditorium and Pretend Electric. And we’ll Then on will hear from five artists doing December residencies – the Henry Clay People, the Dead Ships, Handshakes, Jhameel and Zak Waters. Whew, it tires me just to itemize.
