Friday night fever? Here’s where temperatures will rise:
‣ Simian Mobile Disco headlines the Fonda Theatre. The U.K. duo recently released the four-song EP “A Form of Change,” the follow-up to its album “Unpatterns,” released earlier this year. That’s the video for “I Waited for You,” above.
‣ Nas and Ms. Lauryn Hill wind up their “Life Is Good/Black Rage” tour with a night at the Wiltern.
‣ No Doubt is back for another big night at the Gibson Amphithetre, this time with support from Fitz & the Tantrums (new album on the horizon in the spring) and our favorite purveyors of dirty reggae, the Aggrolites.
‣ Should be a festive atmosphere at the Roxy, where Capital Cities – just signed to Capitol Records – teams up with the Bolts for a big evening that also features the Nukes, 28 North and Raheem Cohen.
‣ Incan Abraham celebrates the release of its “Srpinghouse” 10-inch at the Echo, supported by HOTT MT and James Supercave.
‣ And psych-pop adventurer Vinyl Williams celebrates the release of his debut “Lemniscate” at the Bootleg Bar, with Gazoota and Moon Pearl.

So excited for Walk Off The Earth! Wasn’t sure if they were a flash in the pan with that huge Gotye cover but man that new EP of original songs is fantastic, especially “Red Hands.” The harmonies are so good and that drum beat rules.
