It’s been a long road for L.A. quartet the Bixby Knolls, who finally released their album “Near & Undear” this week, two years after they started recording it. As part of the Dead Ships’ residency Monday night at the Echo, they celebrated accordingly, capping a night of sharp indie-rock with a raucous set of dark Brit-rock. It was a rowdy night all around: The headliners, now a three-piece, continued to put an exclamation point on a year that saw the release of their debut “Electric Ahab”; Eastern Conference Champions played a strong set of all-new material; and openers the Reflections impressed with their driving, dreamy rock.
