Video: The Dead Ships, ‘You Were Young’

Garage-blues duo-turned-trio the Dead Ships ended 2012 on a triumphant note; on a roll from the February release of their debut “Electric Ahab,” they closed out the year with a big residency at the Echo. So the video for their single “You Were Young” comes as an exclamation point. It’s hard on a wintry day like today to think about frolicking in the surf, but that was only a few months ago, right? And only a few months in the future?
