Your big-big-big-show Wednesday:
‣ Muse, touring in support of their Grammy-nominated sixth album “The 2nd Law,” roars into Staples Center for the first of three nights in the big arena. They are joined on tour by Band of Skulls. Meanwhile, 21 million-plus YouTube views for the Grammy-nominated single “Madness?” Madness.
‣ The Airborne Toxic Event, its third album “Such Hot Blood” coming in the spring, resurfaces to play a sold-out show at the Mayan Theatre. White Arrows support.
‣ With this week’s release of “True North,” that’s 16 studio albums for L.A. punk-rockers Bad Religion. It’ll be a cozy little album release party tonight at the Echo.
‣ Dada celebrates its 20-year anniversary as the trio headlines the Key Club. Jerad Finck and 7Horse open.
‣ Mercury Prize-nominated R&B singer Jessie Ware [see our review of her Bootleg show] is back for a headlining show at the El Rey Theatre, supported by Rochelle Jordan.
‣ And the Tin Drums – that’s the Jason Diaz/Anna Beth Carlson project we wrote about last summer – celebrates the release of their EP “Before the Eveing Falls” with a free show at Los Globos.
