If you need further mood elevation, especially with the oppressive Grammys on the horizon, check out the Little Ones’ album-release show Friday at the Echo. “The Dawn Sang Along,” their first album since 2008, arrives next week.

@Seraphina_L recommends: Solange on Thursday at the House of Blues. Had your fill of Beyoncé because of the Super Bowl? Well, don’t dismiss everyone from the Knowles family. Bey’s younger and underground-hipper sister earned a spot in our hearts when she covered the Dirty Projector’s “Stillness is the Move” and took Jay-Z to a Grizzly Bear show. But enough about her indie cred. Solange recently released her “True” EP, a collaborative effort with Devonté Hynes (Blood Orange), and it’s smooth and sophisticated in the same vein as Nite Jewel, Sade and Jessie Ware. R&B lovers, take note.
