Stream: Yeah Yeah Yeahs, ‘Sacrilege’

Chalk one up for the Yeah Yeah Yeahs – the NYC trio have found a way to gracefully marry gospel and indie-rock. Their new song “Sacrilege” is a nervy, vintage-sounding burner that suggests Karen O, Nick Zinner and Brian Chase have gotten some kind of religion. It’s one of the new tunes on the Yeah Yeah Yeahs’ forthcoming fourth album “Mosquito” (due April 16), and if nothing else it displays the brash confidence of a band unafraid to go its own way. Can we get a chorus of “amens?” Amen.
