You wonderful Wednesday:
‣ Big night at the Bootleg Bar – With their “In the Corners” 7-inch just out, Francisco the Man rocks the later show, heading up a local lineup that includes Western Lows [see “Last Known Rivers”] and Tashaki Miyaki, along with Buzz Bands LA DJs. The Bootleg’s early show (7 p.m. doors) features 23-year-old Willy Moon, the New Zealand-born, London-reared fashion plate whose music is part ’50s R&B, part modern hip-hop. The album “Here’s Willy Moon” comes out in April, and that’s his video for “Railroad Track,” above.
‣ Even bigger party at Club Nokia, where Chicago duo Flosstradamus and Araabmuzik hold down a lineup that includes Congorock, GLAdiator, Noizfiend, Alex Bustamove and Mature Content.
‣ U.K. indie-rockers Deluka play the Satellite, but get there early for the Royalty and Xu Xu Fang.
‣ And Sir Sly winds up its residency at the Echo, supported by Bear Mountain, Man Without Country and Houses.
