Here’s a feel-good clip for your Monday. If you’re wondering who’s responsible for those warm accompanying vocals, remember the name Fetsum. A global artist by any definition, Fetsum’s sound combines soul, folk and reggae. The son of Eritrean revolutionaries during the country’s 30-year War Of Independence, Fetsum was born in Egypt but grew up in Italy taking in worldwide influences. Now based in Germany, his joyful sound is captured on the appropriately titled album “The Colors of Hope,” and his video for his track “Waitin’ For You” follows suit by featuring smiles and dances from all ages. I dare you to watch it and not crack a smile of your own.
