‣ London rockers the Veils visit the Echo in support of their new album “Time Stays, We Go,” supported by Andy Burrows, Pop Noir and Deluka. We like what the Veils do.
‣ With a summer tour supporting Depeche Mode ahead, Crystal Castles bring it at the Hollywood Palladium, supported by the Invisibles and Doldrums. That’s their video for “Sad eyes,” above (and you can get a remix of the song here.)
‣ Ben Ottewell (of Gomez) heads up a big night at the Hotel Café – he’s performing with Buddy, while the rest of the night features the Chances with Z Berg and the Absolute.
‣ And it’s the first of three days of the Stagecoach Festival – Coachella’s “country cousin” features Toby Keith, Hank Williams Jr., the Little Willies, Roger McGuinn, Old Crow Medicine Show and more. Set times here.
