Sunday’s fun:

‣ Local surf-inspired pop outfit Blue-Eyed Son [that’s the main man, Andrew Heilprin, above] celebrate the release of their new EP “Shadows on the Son,” their first release since 2004’s “West of Lincoln,” at the Hotel Café on a night that Freedy Johnston headlines headlines.
‣ Brooklyn synth-pop duo Holy Ghost! hits southern California for three appearances, headlining the Observatory in O.C. tonight supported by Classixx. (The same two bands headline the Troubadour on Monday, and Holy Ghost! does a DJ set a Dim Mak Studios on Tuesday.)
The Ocean Blue return for a second night at the Satellite, supported by Incan Abraham and Soft Swells.
‣ And Honor Society, Rags + Ribbons and Tournament of Hearts play the Mint as part of the weekend’s OvertureCon.
