‣ Jubilee Music & Arts Festival, the 2-day with street festival between Santa Fe Ave. and 6th St. in downtown L.A., kicks off today with acts such as the Black Lips, Trash Talk, Bleached, Free Energy, Kitten and many more.  Check out the complete set times here.Â
‣Â Capital Cities, Gold Fields and DWNTWN all return to the El Rey Theatre for another sold-out night of electro bliss.
‣Â The Boxer Rebellion stop at the Avalon in Hollywood in support of their latest album “Promise.”
‣ New Orleans indie rockers Generationals play the Echo in support of their record “Heza” and Canadian world beat “haute rock” band Young Empires support.
‣ Over at the Bootleg, it’s a lovely night of folk with Sam Amidon, Alessi’s Ark and Miranda Lee Richards. That’s Alessi’s Arks’ video for “Tin Smithing” above.
