@KRBronsonÂ recommends: With Future Bible Heroes (at the Echo) to start the week and three local record-release shows (Western Lows on Tuesday, Crash Kings on Wednesday and Incan Abraham on Thursday) to bridge the gap, there’s no shortage of great offerings this week. Among the most striking: the Skirball Center’s “Into the Night: Secrets and Truth” show on Friday. Not only are there live sets from Hunter Hunted and Harriet, but featured artist Gary Baseman [we attended his “House Party” in April] and choreographer Sarah Elgart have a special “art performance” planned.

@Seraphina_LÂ recommends: If you need something different to stimulate your senses, Seu Jorge brings his Brazilian pop samba to the Fonda on Saturday. Maybe he’ll even do one of those Portuguese covers from David Bowie’s catalog.
