Today’s Buzz Bands LA Show ought to be called “Coming Attractions.” Starting at 11 a.m. on The Independent FM, I’ll have new songs from two of the bands playing tonight’s FIGat7th Downtown Festival – PAPA and LA Font – as well as two blocks of music from artists playing next weekend’s Sunset Strip Music Festival. That includes Sabrosa Purr, 8mm, Dreamers Dose, Sad Robot and more. And there’s a seven-song blast from the bands playing the Buzz Bands LA-curated Chinatown Summer Nights show on Saturday, Aug. 17 (such as Incan Abraham and Hot As Sun), plus tunes from other acts on our show calendar, including Kitten, Fitz & the Tantrums, Tapioca & the Flea and Little Lonely.
