Pixies news: The quartet of just scheduled four L.A. dates Sept. 9-12. The band (Black Francis, Joey Santiago, David Lovering and, replacing Kim Deal on this tour, Kim Shattuck of the Muffs, will play the three at the El Rey Theatre and the last at the Mayan. Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. Saturday here. And the people at Kestrel Media made a new video for the Pixies’ new song “Bagboy.” No, back to “Doolittle.”
