Swedish pop duo Icona Pop has postponed West Coast tour dates, including Thursday’s show at the Fonda Theatre, because Aino Jawo is suffering from an undisclosed illness. According to a press release, she is under orders from doctors to rest until resuming touring Sept. 6 in Salt Lake City. San Francisco, Seattle and Vancouver shows were also scotched.

In the release, Caroline Hjelt says: “We cannot tell you how sad we are and how much these shows meant to us. Our fans are so important to us and we live to perform on stage for you each night. We promise we’ll be back and will see you soon! In the meantime, please send lots of love and good energy Aino’s way.”

The duo’s album “This Is … Icona Pop” is out Sept. 24.
