The show lineup for Tuesday:
‣ AFI, with the new album “Burials” due on Oct. 22, warms up for a U.S. tour with a date at the Troubadour (they’ll be back to the play Fonda the day the album is released). Above, the video for “17 Crimes.”
‣ Long-running Seattle indie-rockers Minus the Bear headline the Fonda Theatre behind today’s release of “Acoustics II,” an album that features eight acoustic versions of old songs and two fresh ones. Sacramento’s Tera Melos and Santa Rosa trio the New Trust open.
‣ Pixies return for a second sold-out night at the El Rey Theatre, with Reignwolf supporting.
‣ Re-formed British rockers the Mission UK, who last month released a new album “The Brightest Light,” take on Club Nokia. The Happy Hollows open.
‣ And at the Echo, it’s St. Lucia, building toward the release of the debut full-length “When the Night” on Oct. 8. The synth-pop band will play the new album front to back. Mystery Skulls support.
