Arcade Fire returns Oct. 29 with the double-album “Reflektor” via Merge, but the Grammy-winning band always seems to have something up their sleeve when it comes to promoting a new release. This time they’ve gone into the studio with DFA founder and LCD Soundsystem frontman James Murphy to record the album, and we get a little taste of their new dance-friendly sound with the title track single. Its Anton Corbijn-directed video above involves a mirror-man as well as plenty of disco balls to follow suit. However, Arcade Fire goes a step further by releasing another video for the the tune. Fans can also go here to take part in an interactive music video featuring a visual projection by Vincent Morisset. It involves “reflekting” your mobile device and computer into each other for a psychedelic experience with today’s technology. Spooky, yet accessible across the musical spectrum, Arcade Fire’s new path is an interesting one.
