‣ First, this: Buzz Bands LA’s 5-Year Anniversary with Army Navy, Dream Boys, Charlie Clark and Beat Club at the Satellite.
‣ Zach Condon and Beirut visit the Fonda Theatre – we’re just about due to get a follow-up to “Rip Tide,” right?
‣ Unknown Mortal Orchestra, who released “II” back in February and have a new EP “Blue Record” on the way in late October, headline the Troubadour, with Jackson Scott supporting.
‣ At the Greek Theatre, it’s a big night with the Lumineers, Dr. Dog and Nathaniel Rateliff. That’s Dr. Dog’s video for “Love” above.
‣ And Zola Jesus, who in August released her string quartet album “Versions,” does two shows at the Masonic Lodge at Hollywood Forever Cemetery.
