Options for your lovely fall Saturday:

‣ The Newport Folk Festival comes west, as Way Over Yonder at the Santa Monica Pier offers a lineup featuring Neko Case, Brett Dennen, Calexico, Justin Townes Earle, Jenny O., Eagle Rock Gospel Singers and more. Here are your set times. That’s Neko Case, above; her sixth album “The Worse Things Get, The Harder I Fight, The Harder I Fight, The More I Love You” came out last month.
‣ The recording studio/rehearsal space/all-purpose hub for music Bedrock LA in Echo Park is throwing a party too –  Bedrocktoberfest brings RZA, Liam Finn, Twin Shadow, Vanaprasta to its block party, which also features comedy and magic.
‣ Eagle Rock Music Festival, the free neighborhood shindig along Colorado Boulevard, goes off beginning at 4 p.m. Bosnian Rainbows headline, and the multiple-stage event also features Jessica Fichot, Poolside, Boardwalk, Young Adults, Little Red Lung, the Tennessee Walker and more. ‣ Nice benefit concert at Theatricum Botanicum – “A Tribute to Eleni Mandell” brings luminaries such as featuring Inara George, Priscilla Ahn, Michael Andrews, Jackson Browne, Van Dyke Parks, Benji Hughes and Becky Stark to the stage to salute the music of the L.A. songwriter.
‣ John Mayer plays the Hollywood Bowl.
‣ At the Saban Theatre, it’s the legendary Gladys Knight, touring with the O’Jays for this show.
‣ And songwriter-producer Josh Legg brings his full-band version of Goldroom to the sold-out Troubadour, with Carousel and Story of the Running Wolf supporting.
