Shows for the day we feel we’re halfway there:

‣ Coming off a big show at Austin City Limits, Thom Yorke and pals – dba Atoms for Peace – hold forth at the Hollywood Bowl.
‣ Haim plays a big hometown show at the Fonda Theatre behind their debut album “Days Are Gone;” IO Echo, whose debut “Ministry of Love” came out back in April, opens.
‣ Atoms for Peace aren’t the only supergroup playing tonight – Overseas (featuring David Bazan of Pedro the Lion, Will Johnson of Centro-matic and members of the New Year) headlines the Satellite, with Radar Bros. opening.
‣ City and Colour do the first of two nights at Club Nokia; the band led by singer-songwriter Dallas Green released its fourth album “The Hurry and the Harm” in June, and that’s the video for “Thirst” above.
‣ Langhorne Slim & the Law visits the Troubadour behind their new album “The Way We Move,” with Jonny Fritz and Nathan Reich opening.
‣ And a big night of local rock at the Viper Room sees Rainbow Jackson, Little Dove, Children and the Davis Clone visiting the Sunset Strip.
