It’s the final day of our semiannual pledge drive on KCSN, and I’m feeling all … well .. archival. So tonight’s L.A. Buzz Bands Show will mix some new arrivals with favorites from both the recent and distant past. Set your dial to 88.5 FM (or stream at KCSN.org) at 9 p.m. to hear a Silversun Pickups rarity, a spirit-raising anthem from Shadow Shadow Shade and a nod to this show’s favorite single of 2012, the Neighbourhood’s “Sweater Weather,” which we’re told has now sold more than a half million copies. I’m going to play some sentimental favorites from Earlimart, Aberdeen and the Movies as well. And not to ignore the newbies: I’ll have new songs from Gap Dream, the Moth & the Flame, The Donnies The Amys and Light FM.
