‣ Mike Doughty, whose latest album “Circles Super Bon Bon …” (the title is actually a long list of song names) is a “re-imagining” of songs originally recorded by his band Soul Coughing, headlines the Fonda Theatre. For years, Doughty has refused to play Soul Coughing songs live.
‣ Heavy stuff at the Hollywood Palladium, where Lamb of God and Killswitch Engage rock.
‣ The Lonely Wild plays a hometown show behind their debut album “The Sun As It Comes,” headlining the Echoplex supported by Torches and HOTT MT.
‣ Liam Gowing celebrates the release of his debut album “Drunk Sluts Forever” at the Satellite, supported by Victory, Black Hi-Lighter and Teleskopes.
