A very happy Saturday to you:

Avicii – the nom de tune of Swedish producer Tom Bergling, riding high on the August release of his debut studio album “True” – throws a big party at the Hollywood Bowl along with Sander Van Doorn, Excision, Arty and Cazzette. If you’re counting, that’s a Swede, a Dutchman, a Canadian, a Russian and a Swedish duo. And one heckuva light show.
Sam Phillips plays a sold-out show at Largo to celebrate the release of her 10th album, “Push Any Button.”
‣ Veteran rocker Tommy Keene [see Friday’s post on his sterling covers album] plays a rare local show, headlining El Cid supported by Clutch the Pearls and Psychic Love.
‣ And there’s Odd Future’s second annual Camp Flog Gnaw Carnival at the Coliseum with Tyler, the Creator, Frank Ocean, Mac Miller, Flying Lotus, Earl Sweatshirt, ScHoolboy Q, Trash Talk, the Internet and Taco.
