Here’s your fare for Tuesday:
‣ Scottish rockers the Fratellis, back with their first album in five years, “We Need Medicine,” play a sold-out show at the Fonda Theatre, supported by the Ceremonies and Conway. A throat infection forced cancellation of the trio’s show Saturday in Seattle, but as of now, everything is a go for tonight.
‣ Minor Alps – the musical alliance of Juliana Hatfield and Matthew Caws, – visit the Echoplex along with Dan Wilson.
‣ Cults hit the El Rey Theatre behind their new album “Static,” with SACCO and Mood Rings supporting. That’s Cults’ video for “High Road,” above.
‣ Write the Night 2 – a bundle of performances to air on “Last Call With Carson Daly” – brings a host of talented songwriters to the Troubadour, including Soko, Jenny O., Sara Lee Guthrie & Johnny Irion, Vanish Valley and Robbie Fulks.
‣ Charlie Clark does a full-band show at the Bootleg Bar, supported by Joseph Garate and Son of the Velvet Rat.
‣ And Tic Tic Boom celebrates the release of its new EP at the Silverlake Lounge, where the band is joined by Kid Cadaver, Black Pistol Fire and Outside Animals.
