Is that Hall & Oates whom Saint Motel name-checks in their new single “Ace in the Hole?” Sure enough. The L.A. quartet of A/J Jackson, Aaron Sharp, Greg Erwin and Dax are at it again, churning out a brassy and somewhat sassy slice of R&B-flavored pop. The new song, along with the foursome’s summertime release “My Type,” is available as a 7-inch, and both tracks will appear on Saint Motel’s as-yet-untitled sophomore album to be released in 2014.
