The Fratellis were nothing if not considerate to their old fans on Tuesday night at the Fonda Theatre. The Scottish rockers, visiting L.A. to promote their third album (and first since 2008), “We Need Medicine,” played a long set that hopscotched through their catalog. Jon Fratelli explained that rather focus entirely on the new album, the band would rock a new track every other song, so fans could get a steady taste of the familiar. It worked. Having had to cancel a concert date and an in-store appearance due to Jon Fratelli’s throat infection, the Fratellis bounced back nicely in front of the sold-out crowd, which also got energetic opening sets from L.A. artists the Ceremonies and Conway.
