Jonathan Wilson plays his L.A. makeup show (postponed from last week) for his new album “Fanfare” at the Troubadour. The Blank Tapes open.

‣ Blues trio the Record Company celebrates the release of its new EP “Feels So Good” at the Satellite, supported by the Janks and the Eagle Rock Gospel Singers.
‣ Genre-smashing electro outfit Beats Antique, joined by Sorne, rocks the Fonda Theatre.
‣ Canadian indie-rockers Born Ruffians headline the Echoplex behind their latest album “Birthmarks,” with Tashaki Miyaki and GRMLN supporting. That’s the new video for “Permanent Hesitations,” above.
‣ Vancouver punk rockers White Lung hit the Echo, with Antwon supporting.
Pennywise plays a sold-out Surfrider benefit at Saint Rocke in Hermosa Beach. The show will be webcast live right here.
The Shakers rock the Viper Room behind their latest album “Rescue Team” on a loaded-with-locals night that sees performances from Sad Robot, Ivory Deville and Robert Patrick & the Passengers.
