‣ Minneapolis’ Polica visits the Fonda Theatre behind their new album “Shulamith,” just out on Mom+ Pop Records.  Marijuana Deathsquads open.
‣ Back with a new EP titled “AHJ,” Albert Hammond Jr. holds forth at the El Rey Theatre, with Rathborne opening. That’s the new video for “St. Justice,” above.
‣ The Happy Hollows rokc the Bootleg Bar behind their new album “Amethyst,” supported by Son of Stan and NVUS,
‣ Spencer Krug, as Moonface, brings the music from his new release “Julia With Blue Jeans On” to the Masonic Lodge at Hollywood Forever Cemetery.
‣ Autolux plays at the Constellation Room, and wouldn’t it be great if a new album in 2014 were in the stars?
‣ And desert-rock legend Howe Gelb plays an early set at the Hotel Café behind his latest release “The Coincidentalist.” Later at that venue, local folkies Run River North continues their residency.
