Here’s your Monday:
‣ Drake holds forth at Staples Center.
‣ Big doings at It’s a School Night at Bardot, with Lo-Fang, Six60, Tristen and Jake Troth.
‣ A great bunch of November residencies wind up, with one twist – Night Terrors of 1927 at the Echo (supported by Cillie Barnes, Waters and Z Berg; Body Parts at the Satellite (with Touché, Ablebody and Among Savages); Wunder Wunder and Lovelife at the Bootleg Bar (with Misun and Tiny Hearts); and Mars & the Massacre at the Silverlake Lounge (with Annuals, the Space Race and Planets). At the Echo, anyone who brings a donation of canned food for the venue’s “Gobble Gobble Give” drive will receive a free copy of Night Terrors of 1927’s new EP, “Guilty Pleas.”
