With their latest album titled “I Hate Music,” fans know Superchunk are able to poke fun at life. In fact, their hilariously new Scott Jacobson-directed music video for the track “Void” zooms in on the the aging concert-goer in a scuzziest-of-venues scenario. The aging scene guys at Brooklyn venue Shea Stadium are played by H. Jon Benjamin, Jon Glaser and Ted Travelstead, and in conjunction with actual stage time from Superchunk members, Ava Luna, Heliotropes, Lost Boy ?, and Weird Womb also all make cameos. From laugh-out-loud moments to extreme pity for its characters, the clip’s got a memorable plot for a great song.
