Dawes plays a big hometown show at the Wiltern – the quartet’s latest album “Stories Don’t End” came out in April, and they recently collaborated with the Killers on the holiday single “Christmas in L.A.” That’s Owen Wilson in the video for the song, the proceeds from which benefit the Global Fund to fight AIDS.
‣ Australian party-starters Jagwar Ma come back to town after their rousing October show for a date at the El Rey Theatre, with Fascinator opening.

‣ It’s Night 1 of the 10th annual Hohotel benefit at the Hotel Café, which benefits the Los Angeles Fire Department Spark of Love Toy Drive. Smallpools headline a sold-out show at the Troubadour, supported by Parade of Lights and the Hard Knocks.
