‣ Instrumental rock marvels El Ten Eleven – Kristian Dunn and Tim Fogarty – play the El Rey Theatre,with Slow Magic opening.
‣ Punk-rock quartet Joyce Manor does it nice and loud at the Echoplex on a bill that includes Paint It Black, Hesitation Wounds and Here Between You Me.
‣ Welsh songstress Cate Le Bon plays the Bootleg Bar behind her latest release “Mug Museum,” joined by Kevin Morby.
‣ The Blank Tapes bring their good cheer and “Holidaze” tour to the Echo, supported by Tashaki Miyaki and Levitation Room.
