Hmm … Tuesday …
‣ It’s Tuesday, and maybe you’re not in the mood for mindless dance-pop or hard rock. In that case, there’s Swedish singer-pianist Anna Von Hausswolff at the Bootleg Bar. (Do not watch the video for “Deathbed,” above, if you are squeamish.) Von Hausswolf released her grandiose, church organ-drenched album “Ceremony” earlier this year. Dark, delicious, and maybe for fans of Chelsea Wolfe?
‣ Add Sweden: Dance-pop duo Icona Pop’s is joined by K. Flay and Sirah for a night of fun at the Fonda Theatre.
‣ Long-running Chicago rock quintet Kill Hannah headline the Roxy as their fans await word on new recordings from the band, whose last album came out in 2009. Opening the show: 8mm, Golden State and Aeges.
‣ It’s vintage punk rock from NOFX at the House of Blues Sunset.
‣ And at Disney Hall, it’s “A Judy Collins Christmas.”
