‣ Long-running L.A. rockers the Muffs headline the Satellite, supported by Peach Kelli Pop and Honeychain.
‣ We Are Scientists, joined by Hands play a free show Universal CityWalk. That’s the video for “Return the Favor,” above, from We Are Scientists’ new “Business Casual” EP. The show at CityWalk goes off from 7 to 10 p.m.
‣ Cults visit the House of Blues behind their recently released sophomore album “Static,” with De Lux opening.
‣ And at the Echoplex, it’s a night of psych- and space-rock in celebration of the winter solstice, with HOTT MT, Mt. Ossa, Fever the Ghost and J. Laser.
