‣ This year’s First Fridays series at the Natural History Museum kicks off with Youngblood Hawke and Conway, along with lectures, tours and DJ sets.
‣ Seattle sextet Pickwick rock the Troubadour behind their 2013 debut “Can’t Talk Medicine,” with Elliott Brood and Sweetwater & the Satisfaction supporting.
‣ Singer-songwriter Michael Kiwanuka, whose last album “Home Again” came out in 2012, will test-drive some new material at the Hotel Café.
‣ And Terry Malts and So Many Wizards play the Satellite along with the Abigails and Adult Books. It’s a party for the Dirty Laundry TV cassette compilation. Above is the Terry Malts video for “I Was Not There,” off their recent album “Nobody Realizes This Is Nowhere.”
