Get the week off to a great start:
‣ L.A’s DWNTWN has one of our favorite electro-pop songs in its catalog [from back in 2012], a new EP on the way and the Monday residency this month at the Satellite. Tonight, Buzz Bands LA co-presents a lineup that includes Sirah, Dreamland and Skin Town. Oh, and dancetastic DJ sets from the duo Immigré.
‣ Vanaprasta continues its residency at the Bootleg Bar, supported by Nightmare Air, SWIMM and Heywood at the Bootleg Bar
‣ At the Echo, it’s Criminal Hygiene in the driver’s seat, and along for the ride tonight are the Flytraps, Chad & the Meatbodies, Death Hymn #9 and the Ugly Kids.
‣ Terraplane Sun and James Supercave do the free It’s a School Night at Bardot, along with Public School and AJR.
