It’s been a minute since we’ve heard new music from Jenny Lewis, unless you count the Rilo Kiley’s sweet odds-and-sods release “Rkives” or her cameo on the Wavves album last year. The 38-year-old songstress, who spent a lot of last year doing the Postal Service reunion shows [the photo is from the Greek Theatre show], turns up on a new soundtrack album. “Girls, Volume 2: All Adventurous Women Do” is out Feb. 11 and features music from the HBO comedy, including an all-star lineup of Beck, Cat Power, Father John Misty, Aimee Mann and more, and many of the songs are exclusive to the album. Lewis’ contribution is “Completely Not Me,” which if you’ve followed along during her stellar career, pretty much is completely her. It’s available for immediate download with a pre-order, if you just can’t wait.
