‣ Dum Dum Girls celebrate the release of their new album “Too True” with a show at the Echo, with Dream Boys and Roses opening.
‣ With their debut “Snapshot” on the way March 11, Irish old-school rock ’n’ rollers the Strypes make their U.S. debut at the Troubadour, supported by the equally soulful Soft White Sixties.
‣ British folk singer Johnny Flynn hits the Satellite behind his latest album “Country Mile” (that’s the video for the title track, above), and Afro-pop ensemble the Melodic open.
‣ Their new EP “Besides” out today, local folk rockers Tall Tales & the Silver Lining wind up their residency at Los Globos, supported by Massenger, the Spires and Apple Orange.
‣ And at the Center for the Arts Eagle Rock, it’s Mutual Benefit, supported by Emily Reo and Monster Rally.
